dc.description.abstract Background: Drug resistance is a daily issue for management of patients with bacterial ear infection. Production of extended-spectrum beta-lactamase enzyme becomes one of the mechanisms of resistance to beta lactam antibiotics. However, there is lack of data on ear infection due to extended-spectrum beta-lactamase producing bacteria at Felege Hiwot Referral Hospital. en_US
