dc.description.abstract Background: Helicobacter pylori infection is highly prevalent throughout the world which causes gastric associated diseases. It is estimated that half of the world population is infected by the bacterium. Moreover, people living in developing countries are more likely to acquire infection due to poor personal hygiene and environmental sanitation. Nowadays, its antimicrobial resistance status also remains the major challenge which needs special attention for proper antibiotic selection. en_US
