dc.description.abstract In this project, we successfully study viscosity method for solving split common fixed point problem for the class of demicontractive mapping. We also study a problem formulation for viscosity method to solve split common fixed point problem and its variant form for different class of nonlinear mappings. Proceeding systematically in our study, we give the basic definitions and results from literature. Also we study how to proof theorems concerning to the split common fixed point problem for the class of demicontractive mapping in real Hilbert space. Also we consider a Moudafi types algorithm for solving the split common fixed point problem in the class of demicontractive mappings without any prior information on the norm, bounded operators and consider the strong convergence results of the proposed algorithm. A numerical example supporting our main results is also presented in this paper en_US
