dc.description.abstract The evolution of wireless Technology during the last a few decades, bring the current remarkable expansion of internet services promises on how people communicate, exchange the information using internet service. However, the growth these technologies come with their own limitation. Because of data transmission bandwidth, speed, distance coverage of service, infrastructure deployed and so on. To select parameters are another problem to improve the quality of service in vertical handoff. We proposed vertical handoff algorithm to solve a problem of vertical handoff to improve quality of service using multiple attribute decision making and to make a decision, which affects the vertical handoff when user mover from one access point to another access points based the classes of traffic analysis. The service are whether it is heterogeneous or homogeneous. When the user in the same access technology i.e wireless local area network to wireless local area network or universal mobile Telephone system to universal mobile Telephone system this is traditional handover exist. The Result of simulation shows for the proposed algorithm using network simulator 2-network simulation, based Receive signal strength, and quality of service when node move from Worldwide interoperate micro access to universal mobile telephone system about 15% the delays can be minimized and about 5% improve the quality of service in RAT selection. en_US
